Audio errors after burning

Post by R32MSpec »

I burned some dvds with Movie factory 2se deluxe and when I pop it in my dvd player the sound & audio are off or there is no sound at all....my system exceeds all the operating requirements, installed it correctly, and I got the correct dvd discs to burn. Any suggestions, it's driving me insane!

What project properties do you set in DVD MovieFactory? If you set audio format of the DVD as MPEG Audio, some DVD players cannot play it and will have no sound. Try to burn the DVD in LPCM Audio or Dolby Digital Audio (You will see the Dolby Digital Audio format if the DVD MovieFactory version you have is the Disc Creator version).

Check http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers to know if your DVD player supports to play DVD in MPEG Audio format.

Hope this helps.

I tried burning with MPEG audio & LPCM audio (dolby not available) but still get the same problem. When I use X copy it works fine, but when I create a DVD (Ulead Movie factory 2se) with files the audio problem still exsists.
The default audio option is LPCM, the only option I change is the video quality to normal so it will fit on the disc and I uncheck the "convert complaint MPEG files" setting. Everything else is normal. I burn it a 2X speed (recommended for my burner).
Is there anything else I can do?
