I want to keep my camcorder running

Post by wolf1 »

Any way I can keep my camcorder running while I'm not capturing video. What I mean is after I stop capturing, I want to have my camcorder to keep running rather than stopping each time I stop capturing. Similar to the way the older versions did it. I feel it's a lot of wear and tear on my camcorder to keep starting and stopping it.

is it a dv camcorder? try to set the Device Control to "None" -- so the program won't control your dv device...

If you are running VS9, and this may be true for previous versions, you can set your preferences on your capture tab to no "Stop DV tape when capturing stops". This looks like what you might be looking for.
