After moving from years of using Pinnacle and then converting to Video Studio, I found the only point of frustration was figuring out the best template to use for my videos. Did anyone create a full list of templates that contains notes on how they function?
Attributes such as the base number of image slots, intervals, recommended usage, music included, etc would be handy. Displaying each template eats up quite a bit of time. A template spreadsheet that can be sorted on desirable attributes would be ideal.

Re: VS2019 - Template quickref?
Unfortunately I have never heard of any one doing that and yes it is a bit of a pain having to put an instant template in the timeline to see what it does, so if you do it you might find a market for the final spreadsheet
having said that I and many of the others on here never ever use those templates , it is not necessary you know , just make your own project making it do what you want when you want , everything in those instant templates can be done by the person doing the editing

Re: VS2019 - Template quickref?
I appreciate the reply. Typically what I do is go through the templates, find the one most suited to my project and then reverse engineer it to fit my needs. What I think I'll do is bite the bullet and save several favorites from the different collections. I may rename the favorite templates as needed to differentiate them from the rest of the group. Thanks Again!

Mike all you need to do is saving your "modified" template in "Mike's folder" and you done.

Yes as asik1 says Mike once you have modified a template you can use "File >> Export as template >> Instant project template" to save your modified template with a more meaningful name for when you next need it
