Cycle window (Ctrl+Tab in PSP8) and Zoom centered on cursor?

Post by RBNerf »

Heya,

I'm thinking of upgrading from PSP8 to 2019, and am finding for the most part it's similar enough to be comfortable, though have hit a few snags.

* I used to previously cycle through windows/tabs/images using ctrl+tab, but can't seem to replicate this functionality in PSP 2019.

* Mouse zooming with the scroll wheel seems very unintuitive. What seems off is that it doesn't seem to centre the zoom in or out on where the cursor is, which allowed easy navigation around the image before using only the cursor position and scroll wheel.

* Probably not fixable, but I'm encountering a basic bug in PSP 2019 which was present in the version 20+ years ago, which is surprising, where if I begin to undo basic actions like a series of flood fill clicks in selected areas, the undoes often become corrupted and begin skipping steps, or flood filling other areas or partial areas, and even flood filling the whole image on a redo. I'm going to look into the quick undo options and see if it might be fixable, though am honestly surprised that bug has persisted (it's the main reason I've wanted to upgrade for years).

It's still the same in PSP2019 Ultimate. I just tested it.

You can press the Alt key and drag up or down to zoom/zoom-out the circle. It works well in ultimate.
where if I begin to undo basic actions like a series of flood fill clicks
Have you tried tracing the History panel to see if that helps?

Palettes >> History [ or simply F3 ]
