Hello,
Does anyone has any idea how to draw a straight line path in Roto Pen with a mouse ? The Roto Pen don't seem to have straight line feature and all the path has to be hand drawn. I try to draw a train path and don't want the train moving up and down because I cannot draw a straight path by hand. Appreciate for any idea that can achieve a straight path. Thanks
PS I have tried to use a ruler as a guide, but the clumsiness of the mouse still cannot made a straight path.

Re: Roto Pen question
Don't thick that is possible with RotoPen, try a free program called "Route Generator" which does have that ability

Re: Roto Pen question
In VS 2019 at least, you can create a straight path in RotoPen. It involves dragging one path away from another joined path.
You can simply draw a short line, release the mouse button; without moving the mouse, push the mouse button and draw another short line. There will be a node where the two paths join. Now select the second path and drag it to a new position. There will be a straight line extended. You can delete the paths you don't need.
That's as far as I've gotten.

Hello Kingston,
I tried your method but it don't seem to work. Maybe I am not too clear about your procedure. Can you explain it further ? Thanks much.
