Problem with audio

Post by varko »

Hi

I have installed Video Studio 2018 on my new computer with WIN10 64 bit.
The problem is that program hangs when I try to split audio file from video clips, or when I try to import audio file from HD, or when I try to use original audio file contained in the audio library.
Otherwise its works.

I tried to reinstall VS 2018, also tried with VS 2019 (trial) as well as VS X7 (full program) but always got the same problem.

I use the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB graphic card and sound card on the motherboard ASUS Prime Z370-A II, Intel LGA1151, Z370.

I tested Realtek audio driver instead of NVIDIA HD Audio but the problem remains.
I have installed the latest Quick Time 7, Visusl C ++.

Do you have some idea what can be reason for att program hangs.

Best regards
varko

Any other program plays the audio part of your video clips (VLC etc)?

Hi varco
Apologies as your original posts were overlooked
Reading your posts seems to indicate you having the same problems using all versions of Video Studio back to X7
We would normally ask for more details regarding your audio files but seems unusual having the same issue using the library samples.
And “Do you have some idea what can be reason for att program hangs."
Short answer is no there is no reason why all versions of Video Studio would cause this.

Back to your Audio drivers
I would think it is a problem on your system, you say you have tested the audio drivers
Your profile shows using a sound card, have you tried removing that, then uninstall Main board audio driver.
Rebooting the pc should then auto re-install the audio drivers.
Does that improve things?

Replace the Sound card and install those drivers, any change?

Sorry but it is the only thing I can think of so far and something I would try
