2019 Update - How to turn off ripple editing?

With the first update to VS2019, how do you turn off ripple editing? It seems to be permanently on.

Seems to work for me, have you tried clicking on the little icon which looks like two chain links at the very left end of each timeline, mine turns blue when on and white when off

I don't have a problem getting the icon to turn blue or white, it's just that no matter which it is, there is always ripple editing. When I move a clip to the end of the line, the empty space is closed. I believe this is the same observation that pepegota has posted in his subject "Observations."
I want the space left empty. This leads to a problem when trying to insert a clip between two other clips.

I uninstalled VS 2019 with SP2, then I installed again. I thought that all the installation files already downloaded on my machine would be used again; however, the installation files were downloaded again. The version number was the same.

One difference I've noticed in my favor is that I'm able to insert a clip between two other clips on video track 1.

I guess I don't need any further assistance with this. Thank you.
