I have both PSP Pro X9 and PSP 2018 (hate what they've done to 2018, so I continue to use X9). As of yesterday, the screen capture function does not work in Google Chrome for either version of PSP. I tried it in Firefox, and it works fine. Why does it no longer work in Chrome?
BTW, I find nothing on the Internet or here about this problem.

Re: Screen capture not working in PSP Pro X9 and PSP 2018
Just tested PSP X9 on Windows 10 using chrome to view a page and in PSP used the default hot key F10 to do the capture of a full screen.
How are you attempting your capture - mouse click or hot key.
Does the Print Screen key on your keyboard work followed by in PSP X9 workspace Right click and Paste as New Image.
I note your profile info says you are using Windows 7 while I am using Windows 10.
Have tested with PSP 2018 in Windows 7 and screen capture works OK there as well.

Re: Screen capture not working in PSP Pro X9 and PSP 2018
I'd been assuming that operasinger was using the Screen Capture extension for Chrome available in the Google store. If loaded and enabled, the extension has a little icon like a lens that sits up in the top right hand corner of Chrome to the right of the address bar. You can choose to capture either full screen or a defined area.
I have that extension but have never tried using it to capture a PSP screen. Just tried it on PSP 2018, but couldn't get it to work either. It's not a problem since as you pointed out, there are a variety of other ways of doing screen captures. And since Corel has its own screen capture program(s), I doubt whether they will spend any time looking at why screen capture in PSP using Chrome doesn't work...

Re: Screen capture not working in PSP Pro X9 and PSP 2018
Ahh so the OP really meant that the special Chrome screen capture did not work to capture any screen of PSP X9 or PSP 2018?
or that The special Chrome Screen Capture could not be transported into PSP X9 or PSP 2018?
Interesting how such questions can become so ambiguous depending on the experiences of the user - I use mainly Firefox and sometimes Edge and rarely use Chrome except to check on a feature that someone else suggests.

Re: Screen capture not working in PSP Pro X9 and PSP 2018
Just seeing the responses. My OS is Windows 10 (if my profile says Windows 7, I need to update my profile). I use the Screenshot tool in PSP Pro X9 and PSP 2018, but it was not working in Chrome. I typically have it set to use the F12 key, but after that didn't work, I tried multiple other ways, including PrtScn. Nothing worked, even after rebooting my PC. However, a day later, it started working again. So I don't know if this was a glitch in a Windows update (which was the day before) or in Chrome. Sometimes high-tech stuff does crazy stuff like this.
