I do have the original Serial License for my purchase (upgrade actually) to VideoStudio Ultimate 2018 on my main drive in the system I'm typing from, it is registered with Corel.com, and it's installed directly on my older Samsung 250GB 870 SSD as opposed to a scratch drive. Of course, I'd like NOT to have repurchase a program I've already paid for, but is it 100% tied to my original operating system? I am 100% going to have a fresh install of Windows 10. Is it possible to transfer VideoStudio Ultimate 2018 I own to the new hard drive//computer build? Is the program license/serial number I have only allowed on this original, older computer, or can I port it over to the new hard drive and then upgrade to VideoStudio Ultimate 2019? Obviously, I don't want to do the 2019 upgrade (lesser price) if I CAN'T use the VS 2018 program on the new computer I'm building this coming week. Preliminary research suggests I can try "Zinstall WinWin," but I have no experience with doing this as of now. Any ideas or 411 would be greatly appreciated if anyone has had such an experience. Thanks much!!

New Computer Build and VS Ultimate 2018
I've been using VideoStudio Ultimate 2018 for editing, but my computer's CPU is definitely getting long in the tooth and is no longer capable of rendering the amount of 4K and 360 degree footage I use smoothly...and the render times have been off the chain timewise. So, I'm building a new modest, non-gaming computer (AMD Threadripper 1950X//NVIDIA RTX 2060//ASRock Thiachi Motherboard//G.SKILL 32G DDR-4 3200 RAM//Samsung SSD 970 PRO NVMe M.2 1TB Hard drive w/ Windows 10 64bit Operating System). Please don't criticize my parts' selection; just got some major deals to save money from work!

Though the EULA for Video Studio says you can only install once, in your situation simply reinstall from your existing download file, add your existing serial number, and go on from there. If you haven't already reinstalled it several times before, you should have no trouble.
And a word to the wise: forget about VS 2019 for the moment. It has some fundamental problems. Corel say they are working on fixes, but none of them have yet appeared. So stick with VS 2018 for the time being.

I DO have my original *.exe file I had downloaded when I bought the game, and I have loaded the program only once, on the original install. Here's to hoping! Thanks again!Ken Berry wrote:Though the EULA for Video Studio says you can only install once, in your situation simply reinstall from your existing download file, add your existing serial number, and go on from there.
