Screen Capture

Post by beaner2u »

Hello,

I just tried to do a screen capture with PSP 2019. I cannot find the feature. I can find that feature in PSP 8 under Import, I hope it is still avaiable in 2019

I have used the same method since PSP7: I press Shift+PrintScrn, then go into PSP and Paste As A New Image. I have just installed PSP8.10, which is an old JASC product, and works the same as my old reliable PSP7. To paste a screenshot you do a ctrl+V. For PSPx8 you do ctrl+shift+V or shift+insert; for both right-clicking on a non-image space will give you options where you can pick what you like.

After you paste the whole screen as a new image you simply cut it down to what you want to keep, using the Crop tool. Simple.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.
