First the text “Areas we'll be touring today” is less than 5 seconds with a fade out applied that starts at 2.5 seconds (no fade in)
50% of that clip will be fading, maybe set the Pause Duration longer to 3.5 seconds will be an improvement. (quicker fade out)
Like “tletter” I do not see any problems with text showing grey other than the header using grey as a colour.
I have played the titles a few times which remain the same yellow whilst playing or not.
A little strange why you are seeing this?

I think this is what you are asking for 00:00:15:05tletter wrote:Without a time code, I'm only guessing what you're referring to. With that said, the reason that the "heading TSX-FTC" in the following image is grey is because you selected grey for the text colour as shown.Carroll wrote:Did you try it on the one that has the heading TSX-FTC....... with a list under it starting with First spike?

Yes that is the colour I choose for that particular text. However it's the greying of the yellow text file below that title, which, on your screen shot shows below the title. The first line is "First Spike".... and the text I'm referring to is shown in this attachement

Sorry I don't see what you're talking about. Your screen capture doesn't show any greying nor does it appear in VS2018 when your provided VSP is opened.Carroll wrote:However it's the greying of the yellow text file below that title, which, on your screen shot shows below the title. Re: CVSX9 2018Ult; text fades when viewing in project mode
Ok
Looking at the lower text clip for the First Spike text etc.
When I first select the text box on screen the editor colour shows as grey
When I double click to select the actual text then shows as yellow, to be expected
When I hit Ctrl + A to select all text the editor colour reverts to Grey, I would have expected yellow.
Odd
Even so I do not see a problem with the text colours

Yes it looks very good. That's what it looks like here when the clip is static on the screen, plus, it looks the same when the clip is stopped by hitting pause at anytime during its 8 second duration. However, when in motion, in either project or clip mode, for its duration of 00:00:08:26, is the only way, or time, that the greying effect affects the text, here on my end.lata wrote:Ok

Sorry Trevor, I missed this reply. That's why I included the running of the text in my last post.lata wrote:First the text “Areas we'll be touring today” is less than 5 seconds with a fade out applied that starts at 2.5 seconds (no fade in)

Thankyou every one for putting up with me trying to figure this out. I do appreciate your help. Once I get this rendered I'll let you know how it turns out.
Sincerely

When I rendered the video, the text showed perfect yellow and every colour I used, was as it looked in edit mode.Carroll wrote:Thankyou every one for putting up with me trying to figure this out. I do appreciate your help. Once I get this rendered I'll let you know how it turns out.

I mentioned this before that maybe VS saves power or memory by not showing full colour when you preview in .VSP, but, no matter, I know not worry about how it looks when previewing.
Thanks again everyone.
Carroll
