VS 2018 - Smart Proxy vs. Snapshot
In VS2018 (21.4.0.165), Smart Proxy must be disabled to avoid fuzziness in the rendered output - a known issue. Unfortunately, Smart Proxy also causes fuzziness when taking a Snapshot (see image). Is there a patch to avoid having to disable Smart Proxy to conduct basic operations in VS2018?

Does this mean use Smart Proxy when editing but disable it prior to rendering?

Yes that was the recommendation to disable Smart Proxy then render
I had thought Corel fixed the quality issue with their latest service patch, at least that was the report on the forum
as “tletter” is running the fully patched version then the apparent fix did not work.
Afaik the latest vs 2018 version is 21.4.0.165
