I am having issues with jpg images.
If I open a jpg image, resize it to a smaller size and save as jpg, when I next open the image it is corrupted and totally useless for use.
If I open a jpg image, resize it to a smaller size and save it as png then there is not a problem.
Any advice?

Two things.
First, "corrupted and totally useless for use" is totally useless information to us in helping to solve your issue. We need details, such as exactly what you mean by corrupted, because there are many different issues with images that can be described as corruption. Posting a before and after image as an attachment here would also help.
Second, you haven't described the settings you used in the save jpg dialogue when saving the resized image.

I would suggest that yor setting for compression is to low, move the compression slider to 10 or less (Best Quality end)

I would agree. PSP is my go-to jpg editor, and I have never had a problem with it. OTOH, I save all of my jpg's at 100%.hartpaul wrote:I would suggest that your setting for compression is to low, move the compression slider to 10 or less (Best Quality end)
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

mea culpa! Every other photo editing package I use has the best quality image value to the right of the slider and defaults to best. Corel do the opposite. A case of more haste less speed.
Thanks hartpaul.
