Repeating Text in PaintShop Pro 2019

I am experiencing a very annoying thing in PSP, and I can't find a way to fix it. Every time I try to add text to an image, the last text I used is automatically pasted with the previous font, color, size, etc. I select the text tool and change the settings, but as soon as I click on the image it returns to the previous settings and pastes the previous text. I'm sure there must be a way to stop this, but I can't find it. I waste tons of time because of this issue. Please help!

Untick the "remember text" button.

You can see it here, it's the button with a T in front of a diskette.

Oh my gosh, thank you! I never even noticed that button. You are a life saver! Well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this!

However there are two ways of adding text :
1. The normal way , chooseing the text tool and just clicking on the image and typing. For that the remember text / not remember text toggle is as Levifictuion says.
2. The text box way - choose the text tool , holding the shift key down when clicking on the image. There is also a Remember Text tick box there as well and this one overrides the one used in 1.
So if Levifiction suggestion does not work, you may need to do 2. and untick the box from there first.
