GIF crashes
VS 2018 crashes when a gif file is inserted.

I have a real problem with the computer. VS 2018 is not working properly. GIF crashes, mp4 the AVC crashes. The software that crashes on this new computer works fine on my Laptop. HuH!!!! I tried the folder 21 removal to no avail.

That's the first thing I did. The trial version does not allow for AVCHD. As it works on my other machine and yours, there may be a conflict with some other software. As 2019 is in bad shape, trying that will not do. I will wait for the patch. However, Power Director does not have problem rendering. I want to stay with Corel as PD is not as user friendly as Corel.

This problem is ocurring in 2018. I installed the 2019 trial version and it requires a full purchase in order for AVCHD to function. Therefore, I cannot test it there.
However, converting the files to mpg makes them functional in 2018 for me. I realize you do not have this problem. Thanks for the reply.

This video was made on VS2018 (W7 64 bit) and there was no problem with the GiF files ( the flag in the title insert is a GIF).
