Resetting for Cutouts PSP 2018
After making many cutouts successfully, my Effects>3D>Cutout is now showing up with the shadow behind it thus resembling an Inner Bevel. I can no longer get the selection to be inside the image. I must've clicked on a setting in selections for my Magic Wand and I cannot figure out how to reset it. Presets for Selection reset as Default doesn't change it. The Help Index is no help. How do I get my Cutout to cut OUT again?

Have you checked all the settings for the Magic Wand ? There's one that gives you the option of Inside/Outside. On my ver. X8 it is on the right hand end of Match Mode, Tolerance & Feather. I hope my answer helps & that I understood your problem correctly.

Yes, I checked that. "Inside" was/is selected, but the shadow still appeared on the outside of the selected image.
Edit: I think I figured it out. Next to Presets is Action: Magic Fill. I clicked on that. Now Cutout is back to normal. I'll have to read up on what "Magic Fill" does because my cursor apparently hit that yesterday and totally messed up Cutout!

Re: Resetting for Cutouts PSP 2018
Well.... maybe that wasn't it. Cutouts are wrong again. I did two test images before posting here, and thought it was back to normal. I didn't change anything. Now it's off again. I don't know what is causing this.
Edit: Still testing...
At this point the problem seems to be with images created from brushes made by myself or others.
The stock brushes and shapes seem to do ok with cutouts. For example, my butterfly brush won't cut out, but the stock PSP circle brush and PSP heart shape will. Does this make sense? When exporting a brush that I've made did I miss a step? Or is this just coincidence?
