2019 download from Corel

Post by pepegota »

The 2019 download is listed now on the site. Let's see what it does. I went to install it and it crashes and the beat goes on!
It appears that mis management reigns supreme there.
Error message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the items." I scanned the 2019 download and upon installation, Panda virus software knock it out saying a virus was present. Virus total indicated no virus so, I installed it without issue. Panda was the problem. However, the trial version is known to be flakey and this one certainly was. All the problems remain. I will see what other brave souls will say about the purchased copy.

The same thing happend to me. Before installing the Vs.exe file I scanned it and Panda Dome did not find anything. After I startet the Vs.exe file Panda deleted it. I asked Corel Tech team what to do, and the answer was to turn off Virus protection during installation. I did so and installed Vs2019 with many warnings from Panda.

I will come back in the Spring, if you wake up now. Apparently, the exigency of this matter escapes your notice.

I recently did the download, and it installed and works fine for me on my System. But.. I bought the upgrade from 2018 to 2019.

Why do you continue find it necessary to insult people on this forum?

Pray tell us about your exigency apropos a new product released but a week ago. A product that you state that you received a refund for yet continue to relentlessly complain about.

If you do not want to hear the facts that's your business. I want to see the program improved and keeping silent is not the way. There are definite problems!! Wake up to the fact that there are major problems inhibiting the functionality of the program-that's alI I mean. I certainly would not insult anyone in this forum so, stop being so finicky and let's discuss the real problems.

pepegota, you no longer have VS2019 installed, or at least you shouldn't have, so how can you say "let's discuss the real problems" how would you know what the real problems are, there are many members working in the background trying to resolve the VS2019 issues without the need to climb up on their soapbox, as you like to do, to most of the members you come across as an individual who loses the plot very easily when you don't get your own way, we understand that you, like many of us, are in the twilight years so time is of essence, but that is no excuse for ranting on, that achieves nothing

I installed the trial version so as to keep up. I was so surprised by this new version and perhaps too quick to jump in. I wondered how many others felt the same way. At first, seeing little response to the critical changes made me jump the gun.

Getting a refund still leaves you with a license for the software. You just get your money back. So even if someone refunds, they can still have the full product installed on their machine, seemingly legitimately.
