Looping Video Clip on Timeline
I have a 5 sec video clip that I want to loop (repeat) for 1 hour. How do I edit this on timeline in VS 2018?

Re: Looping Video Clip on Timeline
Hi
And welcome to the forums
There is no automatic way to repeat a clip, you would have to either add the clip to the timeline multiple times or copy the clip / s on the timeline
Right click a clip / Copy float mouse on timeline and click to add clip
Shift A will select all, repeat Copy and drop.
Shift A copy and drop
Unless others have a better idea

Just some addition. You can continuosly increase the number of copied clips.lata wrote:Hi

The first 5 sec copied once will be 10 sec. Now select both and copy again you will get 20 sec. On the next step select the 20 sec sequence (4 clips) and copy it you will get 40 sec, and so on, the next block will be already 80 sec.
Somewhere in the past there was an option to place on the time-line multiple times the same clip ( I never used it, but several times popped up some option). Maybe I will find it...

Apologies
Shift + A is a typo should be Ctrl+A to select all clips.

Re: Looping Video Clip on Timeline
Thank you for your response. I did exactly what you suggested. I put multiple copies on the timeline, selected all, and then copied and pasted multiple times.
