Has anyone run across Droste effects for Paint Shop Pro-
either filters, scripts or tutorials?
I've seen them for other programs, but nothing for PSP
(using versions PSP X7 up through PSP 2018)
Thanks in advance!!
Paul

Re: Searching for Droste Effects
Or the slow way , an example I did back in 2008 with an earlier version of PSP:
1. Started with an original image with a piece of white cardboard on an easel 2. Then copied that image and selected and deleted that white area to leave a hole
3 Then copied the original image and resized and adjusted perspective with the pick tool to fit the hole moved it below the holey layer so it fitted in the hole
4. Repeated that the required number of times to get this final result. The pink layer was moved around to make sure that the images were aligned by showing pink where they needed slight adjustments.
You can see all the layers that were required for the final image - other working layers were turned off and could be deleted.
Takes a bit of time.

Thanks, I was already aware of this effect, i was more interested in the spiraling type that a lot of fractal artists use through gimp art software (without having to learn how to use the gimp software interface.
Their collapsing spirals can be circular, triangular or even 4 or 5 sided.
Thanks!

Re: Searching for Droste Effects
The below tutorial is from youtube video when you search for Droste effect.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhWorN2CIoI
The tutorial is very similar to what hartpaul posted above. He also lists a second method using a web app. I haven't tried it but it appears to do something like you are looking to accomplish.

Thanks! I had already found this, and have yet to play with it, was hoping for an "all in one" Paint Shop method.
