How to extract pictures drom a 4K video file?

Post by Michel Morin »

I am using my Sony camera to make motion studies in 4K. I would like to extract 8 meg photos from these video files. How can I do that in Corel Video 2018 Ultimate? Thanks for any suggestion.

Hi Michel
and welcome to the forums

If I understand you correctly use the Edit menu – Take a Snapshot
first position the cursor.
If you have the "Clip" selected it should create an image from the actual image file
If Project is selected the project frame size will be used creating an image as seen on preview screen

The new image will be saved to the working folder with a thumbnail in the library
