Retaining motion attributes on a split clip

Post by fingerbreaker »

When I split a clip that has customized motion attributes, the attributes are erased on the split clip to the right...sometimes. It was working before but now whether I split with the scrubber or right-clicking all motion attributes are erased on the clip to the right but retained on the left clip. If I have to manually edit the split clips it will take me hours - how can I ensure the split clips retain the original motion attributes? Copy/pasting the attributes from the left split clip doesn't work because it copies from the beginning of that clip, not the point where the split occurred.

Thanks,

Hi
Sorry I cannot replicate that problem
Using CVSX9 when I split the clip it does it correctly leaving Customise Motion in tact across both clips.
I am using version 19-7-0-12, you should try updating the program from

I think you will only need Service Pack 5
