I am freeing up space on my C drive by moving older Disc Image files to a back-up drive and have encountered some issues:
1. I have a lot of .IXB files from the old ULead days which I think were used to burn DVDs. Can I use these in Videostudio 18 or should I just get rid of them?
2. Associated with the ISO disc image files there is always an associated ADP file of 1KB. What is this for? Do I need to copy it to the back-up file too or can I just get rid of them?
3. Most of my ISO disc image files are denoted to be opened with VLC media player, because that it what I use to play them on my computer if necessary. Can I still use them to burn new discs in Videostudio? If so, how?

Re: Disc Image files
You don't need VS to burn iso, any burn software will do so and freeware are everywhere.
If the current VLC will play your old iso's than the important part of them is intact, the videos.
But... as you move all out off C what's in few more tiny files .

Re: Disc Image files
Hi
All versions of Video Studio have the option to burn Disc Images ISO found In 2018 the Tools menu, burn from Disc Image.....
The ADP file I assume is from the earlier Ulead programs but can be ignored, not really sure what that was for.
The file association showing VCL is a Windows Explorer option, sometime in the past you have set that yourself.
As asik says there are other programs that will burn Disc Images, one called ImgBurn is a good option.

Re: Disc Image files
Do any of you know about the .IXB files? I suspect that they are no longer supported in Videostudio and so I can delete them.
