Saving project with Motion Tracking

Post by df »

Hey there. I've got Videostudio 2018 Ultimate and I'm warming up to the program. It seems to work well with my drone footage. I'm having an issue though. If I have a project and I create some stuff with motion tracking I can get it all to behave properly. However when I save the project (Save As) and then reopen it later some of the Motion Tracking seems to not save. I've got one project with 7 things tracked, and when I reopened the project 3 of them from different parts of the timeline were as if I didn't have any tracking at all. Is there something I should be doing differently for this?

Also a second question on saving. How do I save a project with the files/clips with it. i.e. I want to move those files and be able to open the project later from a different location. Would this be Smart Package?

Thanks
Regards, Dan

That would be correct.
