Topaz Filters Install But Really Don't
So I bought and installed the new PaintShop Pro 2019 and went for the Topaz Filter Bundle. The Topaz install process seemed to go OK, but did not seem to install anything. At least I can't find anything Topaz anywhere on my C: drive. There is no Topaz folder in the places cited in the instructions. Did I just waste a bunch of money? The PaintShop Pro 2019 seems to work as expected, just no Topaz.
Any suggestions on how to get Topaz installed?

Topaz Labs should be installed in either (or both of) C:\Program Files (x86)\Topaz Labs for the 32bit plugins and C\Program Files\Topaz Labs for the 64bit plugins. If they aren't in those locations then I don't know what the issue was with the install. You can also look at your Control Panel and the Program Uninstall/Change Programs to see if it shows any Topaz filters installed.

Re: Topaz Filters Install But Really Don't
I finally figured out the problem with getting the Topaz Bundle installed and the bundle is installed and functioning. The trick is to ignore the Topaz Bundle installation file that Corel sends as part of the purchase. I have no idea what sort of junk that file is as it doesn't work correctly at all. It does a good job of pretending to do something, however, it does nothing useful.
To get the Topaz Bundle installed and working, I first had to locate the purchase receipts from Corel. They were hiding away in the cloud in a spam folder for my email forwarding and email safety service. They send me a daily report of dangerous emails they intercept and ask me how to dispose of them (default is to keep for 30 days and then delete). So now I have my Topaz unlocking codes and links to download real Topaz installation files. I used these real Topaz installers along with the unlocking codes and all is well.
Bye.
