Fastflick Template Directory - VideoStudio 2018

For the life of me I can't find where Fastflick Template Directory is stored in VideoStudio 2018?

You should find the templates in two different places depending on whether they were supplied with the program or added by you

one is - - C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2018\EditingStyle\InstantProject

the other is - - C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPTemplate

check them both out - if you have them - each project is stored as a folder within those main folders

I'm trying to open and custom edit a default template but it won't let me open a template.

You can't edit templates in Fast Flick - it is not designed to do that - you can only add and change images and take what you get

If you want to edit a fast flick template then open VideoStudio - open the Instant Projects library and search through all the sub-folders until you find the one you want - Project 05 is in the 'custom' panel - drag it down into the timeline - there you can edit it

Then in Videostudio use "File >> Export as a template >> Fast flick template " to save it

When we open / run Video Studio it shows the media library
The vertical tool bar shows the Instant Projects Library as the second icon
Float your mouse over the icons for the tool tip
The instant Projects library should show your template, possibly twice as you appear to have also added it to the VSPTemplate folder and EditingStyle\InstantProject folder, hmmm

My copy method worked well but I suspect the other method listed is a much better idea

I wish the VisualStudio manual had a better description of how to do this.

We are using VideoStudio - Visual Studio is a special Microsoft program

and yes the manual is not very helpful at all which is why this forum provides such a useful service
