Hi BJC and thanks so much for trying to help me here. Your instructions were very clear. I followed them and it states that the template already exists. I still don't see it. None of the fast flicks or instant projects are labeled as 'color'. They are have names such as 'project. vsp', or T or V .vsp. I clicked and watched all the fast flick programs and none do what is presented on the description/page of the link above. I went through beginning, middle, ending, complete, custom, general. None...are named 'color' or, when u click on them and watch the clip, perform or do as is shown in the description/advertisement/page. The only thing I can assume or guess is that it IS there but labeled as a 'project' file and that what is shown in the clip, is different because of how they edited it in the advertisement. Dunno. I think this is a lost cause and I may give up and eat the $5. Facts: file purchased; download successful; install successful; project 'exists' in the program as per the check above. Me...I can't find it. If you can figure any way to open the files by going by browsing, otherwise I surrender. I DO really appreciate all your help. I have downloaded other mini projects which I have never had problems with. Below is all that is visible in my custom folder. F

Hi
I still wonder if this is because it is saved to the One Drive Folder although just added a folder to my one drive folder then added to the library with no problems
The default location should be
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPTemplate

You showed an image of the Color folder contents
If you rename that folder to Color_old
Then viewing the library look for any thumbnail having a yellow flag, rename the folder again when finished

OK, if you still cannot find it....
In the folder there is a Color.VSP, that is a standard project file
Double click that and the Color project will open.
You could now create another template – File – Export as Template – Instant Projects, that will allow you to choose a save location, I use the default location. Category will be Custom
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPTemplate

Reset Library
If the library is corrupt you could try resetting the program by renaming the 21.0 folder
C:\Users\trevo\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\21.0
Will reset the library, some more info here

The image below shows what the 'color' template thumbnail looks like on my installation , maybe it is somewhere else

but as Trevor says it should open if you double click the color.vsp file in the Color folder .. as an alternative you can also do it from inside Videostudio

open Videostudio .. click on 'File' in the top left corner

from the dropdown which appears choose 'open project'

Use the Windows browser window which appears and navigate to the color folder, when you select the folder only one file will be showing that is Color.vsp

select it and click the open button, after a bit of activity the project will appear in the timeline

Continue as already directed by Trevor choosing 'File >> Export as template' give it a new name [Mycolor?] and that new one at least should be available
color.bmp

which I suppose does look a bit like one of the views from the preview on the sales page
Color sample.PNG

which you of course can edit as you wish

Hi
within the Color folder is a Color.BMP image file , that is used as the thumbnail image within the library

did you try renaming the folder to Color_old, just a a temp measure

when you go to the IP library you should get a re-link or some indication that the template is missing.
you seem to say that the library indicates that the template is already there.
If re-naming does find the template, choose delete to remove from Library
Then try importing the template again
