No preset texts in PSP X8?

I am making a flyer on PSP X8 and wanted to use some fancy text. I see the pulldown labeled 'presets', but it is blank. Do I need to download these presets from somewhere?

PSP uses the Windows Fonts. You'll need to download & install a new fancy font and then it will be available to PSP. Do a search on the internet for Free TTF fonts.

The text presets viewable as images were introducd in PSP X9

Not sure if they are backward compatible.
I managed to place the file location for the 2019 presets in the X8 file locations and they can be seen there as text and not a preview but can be used.
I also used a gradient as fill and set up a text example and then saved it as a preset.
In versions earlier than PSP X9 it is only viewable as text names. In X9 and upeards it is viewable as an image showing its effect (ie a thumnail of the text name using that preset).
So it would appear that the viewing of the text presets as image only started in PSP X9.

Can I download the X9 presets somewhere? X8 is the latest version that I have.
