VS X7 and Kaspersky

Not working icons

Hi

Today I made a mistake, I accepted the internet security upgrade from Kaspersky (2019). Since the upgrade the left icons do not work properly. I cannot switch them anymore. Even a deinstallation of the Kaspersky did not help.
What to do in this case? I reported the issue also to Kaspersky, but no answer yet.

Since the upgrade the left icons do not work properly.

Try resetting VS2018 by renaming your 21.0 folder (instructions are found in this forum).

The error happened only when VS with 2 monitors work. On a single monitor everything is OK.
I do not know what happened.
No i reinstalled the older Kaspersky and continue to work with one monitor only. i am still awaiting the response feom Kaspersky.

Crazy as it may sound just after reading your post I open X9 to continue a project and.... same here, I can't select them icons. I do use 2 monitors, so I switch view to defult on a single.. all work fine.
I Went back to my custom dual and all came back as old days.
And I don't have kaspersky at all.
So I can only think of is the date.

Yesterday I reinstalled the old Kaspersky and switched to dual monitor and now everything works as it should.

It's more frightening , I just found out that 5 files I rendered last week just vanished from my SSD . ~5GB all together. I have no idea how it came to be, even running "undelete" apps revel nothing, like they never were there at all. I'm rerendering them now. ~80min each.
