VS Ultimate 2018 bogs down

VS Ultimate 2018 bogs down
I hadn't used VS Ultimate 2018 in several months, and when I used it now, it had bogged down greatly. If I click on a file in the editing area to preview, it takes 8 - 10 seconds to open. Before doing any other action, it again takes this long to react. Any idea what is making this run so slow? Could it be a setting, or that I have many video from previous projects still in VS Ultimate 2018?

Check that your clips have Smart Proxy files and that you've enabled Smart Proxy.jesse_ wrote:Before doing any other action, it again takes this long to react.
