Move or Copy Picture Tube
@Tuvok - You already can. To move a picture tube or copy it to a category use the Resource Manager. To create your own category, just add a new subfolder to the Picture Tube folder and put a tube in it. That's all categories are, subfolders.

Move or Copy Picture Tube
Here is a work around for what the OP wants:I want an option to move or copy a picture tube to a category and to create categories myself.
1. While viewing the choice of tubes click the middle button at the right - File Locations
2. You should find a User location for your version of PSP - Copy that address. (I have added links to other locations for earlier versions where I added new tubes
3. Open File Explorer and paste the Users link into the address bar.
4. Use the usual explorer features to create new folders / categories and move or copy tubes into those folders.
5. As you can see I used category 1 and category 2 . They appear at the bottom because I used lower case . By changing the first letter to a capital they appear higher in the alphabetical list.
Others may be able to describe different ways to add and change picture tube folders.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Re: Move or Copy Picture Tube
I use the Resource Manager to do everything, moving, copying, and creating new categories. I do think they could have made it easier, though. And knowing where the folder locations are is important to use the resource manager for creating categories as you manually have to navigate a tree view in order to add the subfolder.
When using the resource manager (one of the three buttons in hartpauls' first screenshot) if I click Move or Copy it opens up a tree view of all folders on my harddrive. I simply navigate to the Tubes folder and hit OK, the tube is moved or copied (whichever option you chose). While in the tree view there is also a "New Folder" button which will let you create a subfolder as a category.
