Screen Capture Crashes VS Ultimate 2018 Just installed

Post by JohnSolar283 »

Hello all
I have been going round and round with Corel.
Just got the VS Ultimate 2018 all works great Except Screen capture just crashes instantly.
Program stays fine just an App crash.
They said well you have Pro X9 so delete it then delete 2018 clear everything then reinstall.
This has been done 4 times I think they have no idea.
Ant thoughts (and yes I have deleted and cleared and reinstalled 4 times)

Hi
Each video studio version has its own file for LSC called VSSCap.exe, although we can only run one at a time
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2018
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X9
Each file looks a little different having different sizes. 661mb and 890mb

Running each version, do they both fail?
How do you start the LSC, from the Start menu or through the program, it should not really matter but close Video Studio then try running LSC from the Start Menu.
If both fail then I would suspect your pc, probably check to see if your graphics drivers are upto date.

And yep I have run both X9 and 2018 LSC with no problems.
