Is there a way to slow down the scroll other than adding length to the clip?

If you slow down the scroll without changing the length of the clip how will the text get from the bottom to the top before the clip ends
so in a word - no - you can't defy the rules of physics
if I told you to walk from one end of a football pitch to the other and said you only had 5 seconds to do it you would have to move very quickly - but if you had 15 minutes to do it you could take a leisurely stroll - - how could you do it at a slow speed in 5 seconds - same principles apply to your scrolling text
