Re: FILE FORMAT MISMATCH
Can we assume there was nothing unusual about either the mp4 or m2ts clips e.g. non-standard frame rate?

Re: FILE FORMAT MISMATCH
Yes, with other combinations of the same file types-no problem. More detail: I made a Smart Package on one computer and tranferred it to another computer. When I render on the tranferred computer the rendering goes to completion and the computer locks up. I took samples from the Smart Package and was able to render them successfully on the transferred computer. However, the whole project does what I alluded to above. Is the Smart Package not so smart?

Re: FILE FORMAT MISMATCH
Exactly when do you get the "Format mismatch" error? Your post seems to indicate that you get the error message after rendering has completed and you are trying to play the result video.pepegota wrote:I entered a mp4 and a m2ts file and used AVCHD to code to to HD. Is that correct?

Re: FILE FORMAT MISMATCH
Re-read post above as I added to it. There is no video to play-the rendering finishes and the computer locks up. However, an incomplete video is obtained but, useless.
