Hi!
I am using Corel PSP X6 (16.2.0.20 X64) running under Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, Service Pack 1.
After I load a JPG file, I want to change the color of an enclosed area in the image to the color of another area in the image. I use the Dropper Tool to select the color and, in the Materials Panel, I change the Foreground and the Background Colors.
I then use the Magic Wand Tool to select the area to be changed and the area is selected. But, In the Materials Panel, the Foreground and Background Colors are automatically changed to a previously used color. I repeat the above process and I use the Dropper Tool to select the color and, in the Materials Panel, I change the Foreground and the Background Colors. Finally, with the area still selected, I use the Flood Fill Tool and once more In the Materials Panel, the Foreground and Background Colors are automatically changed to a previously used color.
As an alternative, I use the Color Changer Tool and then it works.
I also tried it w/o selecting the area (since is enclosed) and, when I use The Flood Fill Tool, again in the Materials Panel, the Foreground and Background Colors are automatically changed to a previously used color. But, when I use the Color Changer Tool, it works.
What is happening?
Thank you!

Re: Help w/ Flood Fill Tool
On the materials palette there is a small checkbox that says "All tools" is this checked or unchecked?
If it's unchecked then each tool will have its own last used foreground and background. If it's checked then all tools will use the exact same foreground and background.

Re: Help w/ Flood Fill Tool
This is a feature of PSP. It allows you to keep colors for a specific tool eg one set of colors for foreground and background while using the paint brush, and another set of colors while using the text tool.
Inthe Materials palette just beneath the Set to Black and white box is a tick box All Tools. Tick this and the colors will remain the same whatever painting tool you choose.
While there experiment with this ticked and unticked.

Dear LeviFiction and HartPaul,
Thank you for your replies.
Yep, the All Tools Checkbox did the trick.
