BUG: VS2018 Quits w/o Msg during Titles Editing

Post by Cyberherbalist »

Is this the right place to report a bug?

I have been having an interesting thing going wrong while editing a Title, and this has happened a few times. In this case, I have double-clicked on the editor view in order to place a Title, and during editing the Title VS2018 just up and quits. No error message, no indication at all. Just gone! It seems to happen when I have backspaced letters I was entering (because I want to replace them), and upon the last character being erased it happens. I have checked in the Windows Event Log. Technical details below.

If you just want a new plain title then after selecting the 'T' simply double click and start typing - it is not necessary to use one of the pre-made titles supplied, in fact they often cause more problems than they solve

After you have made your title you can if you want to apply all sorts of animation so that the text says and does what you want it to do
