Hello everyone:
I am trying to use the magnifying lens feature in PSPX8.
My question is about how to resize the lens when done and, how to make it a different size than what the program applies.
If this is possible, please let me know.

Can one invoke a magnifying lens on PSP 2018? If so, how? On the Menu bar, I find View > Magnifier, which magnifies a square part of the image (and there is a slider that governs the magnitude of said magnification) but nothing like what you showed.Jean-Luc wrote:Hi, try this :

Wow! Thanks for that. This is one effect I had never seen before. No wonder OP asked about it.

Interesting. I was not aware of the magnifying lens effect in PSP2018 Effects - but I have often used the View / Magnifier (Ctr+Alt+M) to get at details on the image. It works very nicely with the dropper tool.

Testing the other features of this tool, I have observed that some presets don't display as expected on my computer.
For example, the Ceramic preset displays in black. If I change the color to yellow, it doesn't apply the yellow.
Do you see the defect on your side ?
In the French webboard, someone observed the defect too. But not all users.
