Project photo and video duration automatically changed?

When I saved project, all the photos were given duration as 3 secs but when I saved the project and reopen all the duration changed to 24 secs and also there were gaps between images and video in timeline, what is the problem and how to solve it?

What you describe seems unusual and I do not think has been reported before.
I just cannot imagine how Video Studio could do that.
What version of Video Studio are you using?
Go to Help About and tell us the version number.

Give some details of the type of video clips used, right click a clip and choose properties, what are they?
Does the problem persist if you use Images only?

You could try resetting the program by re-naming the 21.0 folder to 21.0_copy
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)
A new folder will be created when starting VS

If all your stills and videos were on the main video track then having spaces is simply not normal. Pls upload a photo showing the tracks with the gaps.
