Howdy,
I was shooting some motorcycling footage today with my Samsung Gear 360 camera. Unfortunately, I misplaced the camera and its front camera was pointing backwards.
Therefore, the default 360 video "viewport" is filming the back of the motorcycle, not the front as it should be. When I rotate, OK, but if I click home, the video points back at my back (pun intented).
Is there any way to alter the "default" (home) position for 360 video in VideoStudio?
Thanks.
Can I change the default viewport for 360 video ?

Re: Can I change the default viewport for 360 video ?
Welcome to the forum.
Your question is something I have also wondered about as I also happen to have a Gear 360. But I have not been able to find a way to do what you want in VS 2018. It will be interesting to hear, though, if anyone else has managed it.
I think you are going to find that the 360 capacity in Video Studio is pretty new. While it provides the basic tools for handling and processing 360 video, actually reversing the default starting point of the camera is pretty sophisticated and hasn't been included in VS as yet. It would be nice to think it might be covered in the next version of VS, but there are other 360 issues which might take precedence with the developers, such as increasing the resolution of the 360 video that VS can deal with. As you are probably aware, there are now 360 cameras available which film in 5K, but VS does not accept this resolution, and the video has to be down-converted so as to be able to edit it in the current version of VS.
