Hi Guys,

You all are much like I am. We generally think OUTSIDE THE BOX and come up with a solutions. I'm really not into having PSP 32Bit co-resident when I hardly have the need, albeit, I have loads of space available on my 500GB SSD C drive. Tomorrow I will scrutinize the options you came up with and report back.

Thanks Much,
Ira

@ehume - the only reason my suggestion here requires a separate version of psp is because you can't open both the 32-bit and 64-bit programs of the same version. if I open PSP 2019 64-bit and then try to open PSP 2019 32-bit nothing will happen because the program will see that a version of itself is already open and will close. And the question presented was about getting the KPT plugins to work with the 64-bit version. Specifically using these stand-alone external editor scripts too work with KPT.

So I offered the only way to use Scripts and KPT to run the 32-bit version of KPT from the 64-bit version of PSP.

I even admitted at the beginning that it's convoluted, I was simply demonstrating that it was possible. I was not recommending it as a solution. The best way to get KPT to run in 64-bit PSP is to use the 32-bit to 64-bit bridge I linked to at the end of my reply as it should work with most 32-bit plugins. So you would be able to use more than just KPT.

I’ve decided it is not worth having to install PSP 32bit to have KPT, the only plugin that requires it.

But then it only costs a few bytes on one's HD or SSD to keep it -- with so little cost . . .
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

I will look closely at KPT to determine if, for only having that plugin and for the way I use PSP, is it worth installing 32bit version. I know it does not take up much space but hate to have applications I hardly or at all use. It all relates to time to create an Acronis backup image and my desire to keep the single full image (with max compression) under 100gb.

Tnx,
Ira
