Update for PSP 2019 did not complete

Post by Gold Acres »

I got a popup on closing 2019 saying there was an update to install. I clicked OK for it to install but it failed. There was a very long list of files it couldn't find and finally it gave me this:

What is your corrent version number? If you have the original installed version before update 1 it should be 21.0.0.119.
If it is 21.1.0.22 then you have the update installed.
If the popup is giving you trouble in getting the update and you have the earlier version then you should download the update from the corel website:

It's 21.0.0.119.

I downloaded the files as you suggested but they won't run. So, then I went to Help/check for updates and it says there aren't any.

I give up.

Then perhaps the other method might be to uninstall, clean up using the cleanup tool mentioned here
viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52337

and download the latest trial version , install that and activate using your Serial number and hopefully that will include the update.
Can anyone else that has recently installed a trial and activated that verify that it is the latest version?
Otherwise, what is in the update that you must desperatelty have. I am still using the original version 21.0.0.119 as I have seen no real ned to update as yet.

To be absolutely honest, I don't really want to do that. Mostly because it crashes to easily. I have gone back to using 2018 unless I really want to use some of the new content from 2019.

So when I saw that there was an update, I was hopeful it would fix that problem.

The crashing never happened during the Beta Testing at all, but now.... Now it's nearly every day if I am using 2019. And I can't point to one specific thing I am doing right before it quits because it was different each time.
