Add/Edit window problems

After launching DVD MovieFactory3 'Create Video Disk' , New Project, the Add Media window header reads:

Add/Edit Media [DVD_050827.dwz]

So, when I try to import a video file the program crashes. I know this has something to do with the file name that has attached itself to the menu but I can not find any way to get it off of there. I have reloaded the software and downloaded all the updates but the problem continues.

Are you even getting to a blank timeline screen?
After clicking on "Create Video Disk" from the MAIN Launcher menu on the next screen select "DVD" then click on OK.
That will bring you to the timeline.
From the timeline is where you import video files.

MD,
I do go from the opening menu to the Create Video Disc screen, select New Project and DVD. That then launches the DVD maker to the Add/Edit screen.

That is where the problems stops me from importing any media. I have a note into Ulead Tech support so hopefully they have help me through this. Right now the software is useless to me.

Sounds like a Special Edition of MovieFactory.
Your clicking on ADD. What happens when you click on Edit.

In the MovieFactory directory under program files maybe you can launch
the timeline separately.
On my system it's called DVDMF.exe
