ProDAD Mercalli 2.0 in Videostudio ultimate 2018?

HI

Can somebody tell me where i can find ProDAD Mercalli in Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2018.
I have som shoots that need to be stabilized

Hope someone can help me whit this

Welcome to the forum!

If you have fully installed everything, Mercalli should be found in the FX window, which is laid out in alphabetical fashion. Have a look at the screeshot I have attached.

If you can't see it there, check in C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2018\vft_plug to see if you have a file proDADMercalli20Corel4.vft If that file is there, you will need to go to C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64) and rename the 21.0 folder you will find there to 21.0_OLD. Then restart VS. It will take several minutes to open because it is rebuilding all the databases associated with that file. Hopefully that will include Mercalli.

Hi, I just downloaded Video Studio Ultimate and there is no ProDAD Mercalli in the fx or in the vft plugin folder. Can you please tell me how I can find it or download it? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Mercalli and other bonus features are -- or should be -- located in C:\Users\[Your Name]\Downloads\VideoStudio2018\64bit\BonusFeature\PlugIns_X64. That is, of course, if you have kept/stored your full download of VS 2018. You should run the bonus installation again by clicking on setup_Bonus.exe in C:\Users\[Your Name]\Downloads\VideoStudio2018\64bit\BonusFeature

Hi Ken, Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately, it is not in the bonus feature folder either. The only thing in there is Adorage. I ran setup_Bonus.exe just in case and it did not show up. Can you please let me know what to try next. Thank you!

I would suggest you try downloading the Bonus features folder again
Rename the existing folder \64bit\BonusFeature to \BonusFeature_old
Run the Web Installer aka stub, VideoStudio_Install.exe. it’s the 10 Mb file
From the last window, deselect “do not download installed files” then Download Only
The stud will verify the downloads and then download Bonus Features again
If you wish you could download all again by choosing a new download location folder.
Having two copies you can compare the contents.
Manually run the bonus installation again by clicking on setup_Bonus.exe as Ken’s reply.

Thanks Lata! I appreciate your help. I could not get the bonus features to download again after changing the name of the file so I uninstalled and did a full re-download and installation. It seems to be working now.

That’s good news, no idea why the original download did not include the files
However you should be able to download the files at any time provided you tick the right boxes
From the last window, deselect “do not download installed files” then Download Only

Not to worry you now appear to have the entire package
