3D Title Editor Is Running, Please Close It To Continue Edit
I have tried everything to get rid of this popup and make 3D titles work but all I can get is to uninstall 2018 using the cleanup tool and re-install. It will work for a couple of edits and then stops again. The popup is even coming up when it is working but is just underneath the editor. Then eventually only the popup. One of the reasons I upgraded. I even uninstalled all previous versions of VS using the cleanup tools. Is there a leftover file I can delete to make it work every time since re-installing works for a few edits? At this point a workaround would be much appreciated.

That message appears nearly every time you try to open 3DT, down in the bottom system tray you should see a Blue 3D symbol, click on that symbol and you can continue editing

Sorry, I should have noted that I have tried that but it still does not open. I can start it manually from the .exe in the Corel folder but if I try to edit something and move the time in the editor it immediately closes the editor.

Re: 3D Title Editor Is Running, Please Close It To Continue
Hi
Using the Cleanup tool for 2018 is much improved from earlier versions in that it does seem to remove the extras installed by the program, I refer to VideoStudio MyDVD, Graffiti and indeed Video Studio 3D Title Editor
However the cleanup tool does not remove personal data, using Windows Explorer does give an option to remove personal settings, but does not remove the extras ( catch 22)
Basically removing the folders associated with the program here
C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\21.0
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)
The later folder being use to reset the program, may be worth a try?
http://lata.me.uk/corel/reset/reset.htm
For uninstalling I use the Cleanup tool then rename the 21.0 folder from Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)
I do not think the documents folders would not affect 3D Titler.
I would advise that you check Program and Features for “Video Studio 3D Title Editor”
if that remains uninstall before re-installing Video Studio 2018
You can try re-installing VideoStudio_3D_Title_Editor.exe
From your programs download folder 64bit\Ultimate\Setup\RunTime
Although it is generally best to install plugins whilst installing the main program and not separately as it may/could cause some activation issues?

Re: 3D Title Editor Is Running, Please Close It To Continue
I tried the above steps. If I rename the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\21.0 then it will work but once I load my project (which I have even removed all 3D titles from now) it stops working again. It also takes a reboot to even rename that folder so if it did solve the issue it would be very annoying to have to reboot every time. Thanks, any other ideas?

Re: 3D Title Editor Is Running, Please Close It To Continue
Well, I have come up with a workaround. I installed VS on another PC and I use that one to make the titles and then transfer them to the other one as an animation. If I open my project on the new PC 3D titles stop working there too so for now I don't save anything on it and just use it make titles. Makes positioning more difficult but at least I can get 3D titles into my project now.
