PSP 2019 darkens my display

I have just purchased PSP Ultimate 2019 and everytime I launch it it darkens my displays?

That can happen if you installed a program to be run as an Administrator.
If you right click the shortcut and select Properties, you may see on the Compatibility Tab that Run this program as an Administrator is selected.
If so, deselect and Apply.

Thanks but that is not the case.

Perhaps something weird in Colour Management. First try resetting by holding the shift key as you start the program. If that does not change things do a search for color management in this forum - there has been lots written on the subject, a weakness in the program.
