HI
Not sure really, they do seem to be quite stubborn
You could try accessing your Corel account to change your preferences?

https://account.corel.com/accounts/user ... unications

There is also some message options from within video studio, I think the help menu?

Thanks,
when I log into my account the only check mark that was checked was do not receive any more communication from Corel. I unchecked it now also wait-and-see if that worked, My guess is that it didn't.

You might also want to read through this thread. Although it is in the PaintShop Pro forum, the ads function the same way with VS and you might get some more ideas about how to handle them.: viewtopic.php?p=346264#p346264

Popups like this recur distressingly frequently with VS. On one hand, it's the cheapest upgrade option around if you have an older version. But most of the time it's just an irritation.

This has come up in the past and various methods to remove them have been advised. Some seem to work, others don't. I tried several. Even the one that worked did not last - the pop-up came back. Probably as a result of service pack updates. I've found that best approach is to just ignore them, click X to remove, 2 seconds.

I hear you, I have owned versions 4,5 and 10 and to be honest never learned how to use any of them so that I was comfortable. The last thing I want to do now is upgrade again......lol
I also own Adobe CS5 production Suite and have been learning Premier Pro and will be using that for editing as I also have After Effects and everything else that came with the suite so I will end up uninstalling VS 10 and hopefully that will get rid of those popups

Thanks for your reply
