I’m looking for a transition effect to segue from a scene into a dream sequence in the style I can best describe as a “scooby doo” shot (if you’ve seen Wayne’s World, you’ll know what i’m talking about) so any recommendations would be appreciated.
Also, is there a way to extend how long a transition lasts please? The default time on mostpre-sets i’ve previously used in VideoStudio are quite brief and the one ai want needs to last a couple of seconds.
i’m using Videostudio Ultimate ‘18.
Thanks

Re: Transition effect question
Never seen Waynes World so that means nothing to me - but most dream sequences seem to start and end with some sort of ripple cross fade - have you investigated the many variations of fade and ripple available in the Pro-Dad Vitascene selection - which you can select and make some customisation to - some of them look acceptable to me as dream intros
The default transition time (and photo/color block duration) can be set by you in 'Preferences' - but you can change any one individually by double clicking on it in the timeline and changing the numbers next to the little clock in the options panel which opens - - OR - if you find it easier - select the transition then hover the mouse cursor over the yellow / orange bar at the end of the transition and when the cursor changes to a double head arrow left click and slide your mouse left or right as required

Re: Transition effect question
Brian thanks so much - I wasn’t aware of the Vitascene plug in but i’ve found it now and the ripple effect is perfect. Thanks for your help.
