Mouse started to not respond properly, got lots of odd notes playing thru speakers.
Mouse stop working, light on it went out. Rebooted via turning power off. Was using Paint Shop Pro 2018
Worked ok for a short while then above box showed, clicking yes, no or red X closed it but it came back immediately.
Rebooted again vie power button with new laser mouse which worked straight away.
After a short time the Script Error box returned and , as before, would not close.This time the mouse
kept working and I was able to close down running progs via the Task Manager.

The fault lay with the usbs.The problem 1st started when the mouse was connected to the pc via a ps/2 port and a usb connector.I changed the mouse cable directly to a usb port but that only worked for a short while.This connection was via the back of the case.I then connected the mouse to the front of the case, a driver was then installed and it worked ok.After about a week I then connected the mouse to the back and everything seems to be fine now.I was thinking it needed a new motherboard but now that can wait until ddr4 ram appears on the market.In the meantime a deal was offered on an upgrade to 2019 so that is where I am now.
