Increased Disc burning freezes with 109

Over the past couple of months I have seen a steady stream of burn failures taking the form of a total system lock midway into the burn.
109 16xPatch 2.231 upgraded to 2.232
109 has latest FW and correct 133 cable
Happens irrespective of Burn Speed
Media does not seem to be an issue as it has occured on 3 different dyes

I dont remember these with the older 106 Drive.
I know of others who have experienced this.
The Iso always burns on the same drive with same media using Nero.

So other than me and two mates three thousand miles apart.............anyone else seeing this??
