Graphic Block Colour Bug in 165

Post by Granpaw Broon »

I use the black block from the Graphic menu very often which has always worked correctly that is until I upgraded to 2018 21.4.0.165 yesterday. When adding a black block (0.0.0) to the timeline it is not black but dark blue (1.0.18). To check that this is not just my installation if you right click the black colour block from Graphic symbol and insert it to the Overlay track then select the block on timeline you will notice in the preview area that the black image is actually dark blue and not black at all.
To confirm this, right click the block on the timeline, select Open Options Panel, Edit Tab and click the Colour Picker, select Corel Colour Picker and instead of R0 G0 B0 it has R1 G0 B18 #010012. If you then select black all fields will go to 0 with a hexadecimal value of #000000. Click okay and it will now change to what it should be. So now I have to go through this procedure each time I want to use the black block. I have not tried it with other colours as I mainly only use the black.

Can anyone else confirm this or is it just me it's happening to. I have X10.5 and X9.5 installed as well and they both work as expected as did 2018 21.3.0.141.

Thanks gewb, I'll re-install VS2018 from scratch again. It must be a glitch in my setup.

Could not duplicate mine is always 0,0,0 - even pushing a copy back up into the library creates a 0,0,0 block (giving two)

Hi

You could try resetting the program by re-naming the 21.0 folder, may save you reinstalling the program, mind you I may be too late?
