Wrong Colour Letters on Title
Hi,
I'm using the titleling facility inside Corel Video Studio ProX8, (I'm on Windows) and I've chosen a red colour for the text of my animated title - a dark red, and yet on the video it's coming up as yellow, why?
How can I make it red?
Thanks.

Hi
I assume you have changed or selected another title that is using red.
If you select the words on the preview screen the editor should show the correct colour for those characters.

Did you modified a title from the selection, if so which is it?franontheedge wrote:Hi,

Yes I made it, but such a long time ago I can't remember how I did it.asik1 wrote: Did you modified a title from the selection, if so which is it?

I made it years ago - back when I could stare at the screen for hours on end - now I can't (neck injury).
I do have a faint memory of needing to do deeper into CVSProX8 - but I can't remember where that is or how to get to that menu.

I've found a similar issue, when adding a black block (0.0.0) to the timeline it is not black but dark blue (1.0.18). This was okay before I upgraded to 2018 21.4.0.165.

Re: Wrong Colour Letters on Title
Hi franontheedge
Your image from the earlier post shows an FX on the clip as though you have added a filter????
If you save your project then rename the project file to use .txt as the files extension you will be able to attach the VSP to your post
We can then have a look at what’s going on.
Can you confirm which version of Video Studio you are using?

Are you adding a colour clip from the graphics libraryGranpaw Broon wrote:I've found a similar issue, when adding a black block (0.0.0) to the timeline it is not black but dark blue (1.0.18). This was okay before I upgraded to 2018 21.4.0.165.
How do you identify that the clip is 1.0.18?

Okay here's the .vsp (now a .txt) as requested.
By the way I've turned off the animated background - but you'll see that.

Hi Trevor, right click from black colour block, insert to Overlay track. Select block on timeline (you will notice in the preview area that the black image is dark blue). Right click, select Open Options Panel, Edit Tab and click the Colour Picker, Select Corel Colour Picker and instead of R0 G0 B0 it has R1 G0 B18 #010012, then select black and all fields go to 0 with a hexadecimal of #000000.

Re: Wrong Colour Letters on Title
Very simple, your title has emboss FX that takes over with it's "golden" hue.franontheedge wrote:Okay here's the .vsp (now a .txt) as requested.

Click on the attribute tab hide it and get your red back.

On my X9.2 I see no blue, and all digits are 0's.Granpaw Broon wrote:Hi Trevor, right click from black colour block, insert to Overlay track. I've got the Atribute tab up but can't tell what to hide.
Hang on... Found where to change the colour inside that attribute thingie. (still can't see anything to hide, but it's working now - still animating and now beautifully RED!)
